Hey there, fellow GoMe faithful!
Lately, I've been busy helping a couple of friends with their projects, one of which involved getting to design a movie poster, which was exciting.
Another was helping Mystler check some of his non-URU-related fanfic (he's an excellent writer, by the way). As such, I was inspired to revisit another fanfic...which IS URU-related.
With that, I give you the beginnings of The Book of Lothias! It will be his backstory that will be the centerpiece of the often-mentioned but rarely-seen waystation project (which is also being revisited and revamped), and this book will suppliment it much like the Books of Atrus, Ti'ana and D'ni did for the Myst series.
In any case, much like everything else I'm working on, it's a work in progress, but enjoy what's there so far. I'll add to it as I get time and inspiration.
I'm getting ready for an official release tomorrow. A graphical teaser:
Meanwhile, in the Linguists’ lair

Kor...that's astounding!
I really do suspect Doobes is going to be thrilled.

Doobes is most definitely thrilled! Also, Doobes is not regularly one to refer to himself in the third person. Don't worry.
Great job, Kor! I think I'll add those to their respective chapters for full effect.
@Kor: A few things you might need as items of interest:
To our knowlege, Signs and Portents was penned by a reculsive old hermit on Teshen. This means their might be some inconsistancies/dialect issues with any D'ni from there. As a point of backround on Teshen itself, it was a Garden Age that several D'ni families used as vacation spot, much like a summer retreat or winter cottage we have today. That being the case, some of the lower/middle classes eventually settled there full time, causing a small village to spring up. ...So as you can see, quite an interesting little place, no?

A bit of Photoshop magic and some editing in the book pages...and viola!
